Oakley Mont Scape L is a snow goggle for skiers and snowboarders who want Oakley optics without extra hardware. The matte black frame carries a Prizm Torch Iridium lens, and the dual layer conical lens opens up a wide field of view.
Mont Scape is the pared back counterpart to Flow Scape. Clean organic lines and a simplified chassis pull the lens in close to your face. That is the whole trick behind the view: the nearer the lens sits, the more terrain you take in without turning your head. The conical lens is built in two layers and stays optically calm right out to the rim. The Vision Rapt face foam is moulded in three dimensions, spreads pressure evenly and stays out of your sightline. The flexible O Matter frame is cast in bio resin and the strap is recycled polyester. Lenses are impact tested at both high mass and high velocity. Prizm Torch Iridium runs a rose base tint and lets 17 percent of the light through. It is built for sun and clouds, and the warm tone lifts relief out of the snow so rollers and edges show up before you reach them. Put it on for an ordinary day on piste, with cloud drifting in and out across the sun.
