A small run for the 40th anniversary
Peak Performance has made only a small run of the anniversary collection, and it is sold through very few selected retailers. We are one of them. Once a size sells out here, it will be hard to find anywhere else. The collection brings the classics out of the archive and rebuilds them in new materials, 40 years after two skiers on a chairlift in Åre agreed to make the ski clothing they could not find.
R&D Long · 1993
The signature jacket is back
The R&D Long arrived in 1993 as a long parka-cut shell with a removable liner, and it became Peak's signature jacket. The new edition is made from three-layer GORE-TEX C-KNIT with stretch, which feels soft against the body.
Polartec Alpha replaces the old fleece liner, and extra aerogel insulation sits where the cold gets in first: the phone pocket, the knees and the seat. A RECCO reflector lets rescuers find you with a detector.

The R&D set
Alpine
Red and black in bold blocks
The Alpine is a three-layer GORE-TEX C-KNIT shell with stretch, so it moves with you when you bend into your skis. The colours are split into large blocks, and the R&D badge sits on the sleeve.
The jacket has no insulation, so you control warmth with the layers underneath. In the photos, the model wears the Helium down jacket underneath.

Not a copy of the archive
Peak's design director Sofia Gromark would rather reinterpret the classics than copy them. So the collection looks like the archive from a distance, while the materials are new. Look for the script embroidered across the back and the woven anniversary label with a ski photo inside.
For the piste
Warm sets for cold chairlifts
The Maroon for men and the Anima for women are insulated sets with two-layer HIPE, Peak's own membrane. The insulation sits in both the jacket and the pants, so you are warm from the first run and do not need many layers underneath.

Down
Helium and Frost
The Helium is the down jacket with wave-shaped baffles that keep the down in place. It is light enough to wear under a shell and smart enough for town. The Helium Down Hood is the women's version with a hood.
The Frost is reversible. One side is a smooth shell with a HIPE membrane, the other is down with Peak Performance embroidered across the back.

The year on the chest
Hoodies and T-shirts with 1986 embroidered on the chest, and on the Graphic Hoodie, Peak Performance in script across the back. The Rider Zip is a full-zip top that also works as a midlayer under your ski jacket. The beanie has the logo knitted all the way round.
