Which kite size?

Rule of thumb for a rider of 75 to 85 kg on a twin tip. If you're lighter, go down a size. On a foil you can make do with a smaller kite and ride in less wind.

Pivot

Started as a wave kite

Pivot came out in 2014 as Naish's wave kite. It has three struts, is light and turns tightly around the wingtip, and today it is used for everything from freeride to waves.

Robby Naish was there when kitesurfing took off. He won the kite world title in 1998 and 1999, and in 1999 Naish's first tube kite, the AR3.5, came out.

From windsurf to wing

  1. 1976

    Age 13

    Robby Naish becomes windsurfing world champion in the Bahamas. He went on to win 24 world titles in total.

  2. 1979

    Naish is founded

    In Hawaii, where his father Rick makes boards.

  3. 1998

    Kite world titles

    Robby wins the kite world title in 1998 and 1999.

  4. 1999

    AR3.5

    Naish's first tube kite, and the first Red Bull King of the Air.

  5. 2014

    Pivot

    The wave kite with three struts.

  6. 2019

    Wing-Surfer

    The Naish Wing-Surfer is launched.

  7. 2023

    Kubus Sports
