The Leki Wyldbird Vario TR is an adjustable alpine ski pole for the piste and powder. It has a Trigger 3D ProG grip and Speed Lock Plus, and it comes with two baskets. This one comes in Bright Violet/Dark Violet/Neonyellow.
You set the length to any position with Speed Lock Plus, so the pole quickly adapts to the terrain. It is an external clamp that adjusts easily and has high holding force. The shaft is HTS 6.5 aluminium, which is stable and reliable. The Trigger 3D ProG is a slim grip in 2K Supersoft. Its non-slip surface gives you a secure hold and good power transfer. With the Trigger System, the strap or glove clicks straight into the grip. Hand and pole are linked, which gives you more control. In a fall, the connection releases once enough force pulls in a certain direction. You can also click out with the button on the grip. All alpine Trigger straps and gloves work with the pole, but Leki's Nordic Trigger system does not. The compact Cobra basket keeps the pole from sinking into the snow on the piste. For deep snow, you swap it by hand for the Big Mountain basket. The Flex Tip is a robust tip for precise pole plants on almost any surface.
