Peak Performance Vertec HIPE® 3L Shell Jacket is a 3-layer HIPE® shell jacket with a RECCO® reflector and a helmet-compatible hood. The Vertec family is designed for resort skiers who also explore the backcountry. This one is Terrain Tan/Sand Fog.
HIPE® is Peak Performance's own fabric. It is windproof and waterproof while still breathing. All seams are fully sealed. The RECCO® reflector makes you searchable to professional rescuers and never needs to be switched on. The hood is fixed, adjusts in height and width, and has a laminated brim. The sleeves are articulated, and velcro straps adjust the cuffs. Zipped vents sit under the arms. The fixed snow skirt snaps into ski pants that use the same system. Up front is a 2-way YKK AquaGuard® zip, and soft fleece protects your chin. There are hand pockets, chest pockets and an inner pocket, all zipped. A goggle wiper sits inside the jacket. A drawcord adjusts the bottom hem.

Materials: Shell: 100% polyamide face, 100% polyester backer and 100% polyurethane membrane.
The jacket pairs with the Vertec pants from the same family, which have loops for the snow skirt. That gives you one kit for both lift and tour.
