Tom Wallisch Pro 26/27

The Line Tom Wallisch Pro is a park ski that Line developed together with Tom Wallisch. It is built for rails, jumps and competition, and it has Thick-Cut Sidewalls, Thin Tip and an aspen veneer core. Line rates it for intermediate to expert skiers.

With Thick-Cut Sidewall, the sidewall extends further into the core and there is more material over the steel edges. That increases the bonding surface, so the sidewall stands up to hard edge impacts such as sliding rails. Thin Tip means the core runs all the way through the tip and tail, with a glass-on-glass bond in both. If a delamination happens, it stops short of the core and stays limited to edge chipping. The core uses a single species of wood, which Line says gives a consistent flex and snap. The flex is symmetric, so the ski behaves the same riding forward and switch. Fatty Base and Fatty Edge give a 30% thicker base and edges that last longer and take more tunes. At 178 cm the ski measures 118-90-116 mm, with a 19 m radius and a weight of 2010 g.
