The Reedin SuperNatural SSD 2026 is a light-wind wing. SSD stands for Short Span Design, which means a shorter wingspan and three struts. This one comes in blue.

Reedin lengthened the strut and added two side struts. That gives the wingtips a boxier shape, and the extra struts keep the wing rigid even in a short, wide outline. The result is more power and efficiency in light wind. The dihedral, or arc angle, is raised to 17 degrees to keep the tips off the water. The canopy and profile are tuned to stay controllable as the wind picks up. The leading edge has fewer segments and UD Vectran stringers inside, which stiffen the centre and help the wing hold its shape over time. The seams run vertically through the canopy, so each seam takes part of the load. Canopy tension is higher too, especially along the trailing edge, for a direct feel with less flutter. The boom is curved to sit naturally in your hands, and the pistol grip gives you quick access when the wing is in free-fly.

  • Short Span Design with three struts
  • Aerolite frame with High Tenacity polyester leading edge and struts
  • High tenacity trailing edge that holds its shape
  • Light soft battens keep the trailing edge calm
  • 118 cm ErgoCarbon boom in pre-preg carbon
  • Wind range 5-16 knots for a 75 kg rider on an 88-litre board with a 1280 foil
  • Bag, repair kit and wrist leash included

The SuperNatural SSD is Reedin's wing for light-wind days.
