The Faction Studio 3 is a premium all-mountain twin-tip with a 112 mm waist and freestyle DNA, built to balance performance, precision and float in variable snow.
The Studio 3 is for freeskiers who want to carve, pop, smear, press and float, and who like to land switch or ride backwards. The core is poplar wood with good flex and vibration absorption, reinforced with carbon stringers, 8 to 12 unidirectional carbon strips per side, seamlessly woven into the fiberglass for stability without bulk. A 600 mm carbon and rubber stomp pad under the binding adds stability and absorbs vibration. Boat Flex combines a stiffer tip and tail with a softer mid-section under the binding for high-speed stability and maximum pop in the air. The profile is a Studio progressive twin with generous rocker and modest camber plus a slightly skinnier tail and wider tip. An Elliptical Sidecut delivers quick pivots and a wide range of turns. XL 2.5 mm steel edges, a Full Strength Sidewall and an Anti-Chip Micro-Cap ensure durability, and the ski is built in Austria on renewable energy.
