The Fischer Speedmax 3D Skate 61K Medium is a race skate ski for soft snow. It carries Fischer's RACE CODE, which means the ski was designed and tested by Fischer's racing department to World Cup standards. This version has a medium stiffness.
The 61K construction gives extra pressure relief at the tip and tail, so the ski runs fast in soft tracks. The core is Air Core HM Carbon, with over 80% air combined with high-modulus carbon fibres. Together with an FCF carbon fibre laminate, it keeps the weight down. The base is applied with Cold Base Bonding, without heat or pressure. That keeps its structure intact for good wax absorption and easy regrinding. The grind is DTG World Cup Plus, a deeper and coarser structure for warm, wet conditions. Gliding Sidewalls add a thin layer on the sides that takes liquid wax and cuts friction.
