About the brand
NSP was founded back in 2001 by Bruce "Buzz" Hansen, a lifelong surfer, skater, and all-around waterman. When Bruce wasn’t in the water, he was shaping surfboards. He had a passion for creating boards for the so-called "everyday and recreational surfers" who needed versatile and durable boards at an affordable price. Together with close friends, he developed boards under the name “New Surf Project” a project founded on a simple mission: to produce innovative technologies focused on improving board performance, durability, and design, ultimately enhancing the joy of surfing.
