The Salomon S/Lab QST Echo is a touring-specific evolution of the iconic QST 106. With a 106-millimetre waist, it is a lightweight, lively backcountry ski perfect for all conditions.
The ski has a karuba/poplar woodcore that combines lightweight properties with reduced inertia, and a Ti Binding Reinforcement with a titanal insert edge-to-edge underfoot for maximal power and increased edge grip on hard snow. Flax-carbon Superlight fibers reinforce the ski, Full Sandwich Sidewalls ensure stability and edge grip, and a Cork Damplifier absorbs vibrations, as cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Double sidewalls are made of 100 percent recycled material.
