R-Winger 2025

The JP R-Winger is a compact race and light wind wing board. The R stands for Race and Real Lightwind, and the board is built for wing foiling in light winds or with a small foil.

Everything about the shape is focused on generating ground speed, so you take off quickly and recover quickly after a touchdown. The tuck line is fully sharp all around and releases the water instantly. The smooth scoop rocker, the long and narrow outline and the extensive tail cut-outs work together. They keep drag down so you can fly with a small foil, and the reduced tail area makes pumping easier. The tail rocker is slightly raised, so you can push harder on the foil for a better upwind angle and more top speed. The nose is pulled in and aerodynamically shaped to reduce drag, even in strong winds. In the standing area, the deck is concave, which gives a more direct feel and better control in the air. There is no carrying handle, which leaves a cleaner take-off surface and saves weight. The board is built in the CNC custom line at Cobra with full PVC sandwich in deck and bottom. The two long US track boxes sit on PU blocks running from deck to bottom. Two boxes let you trim the foil individually and spread the pressure evenly.
