The Leki PRC 850 TR is a carbon cross-country pole for ambitious recreational skiers. It has Leki's new Nordic Trigger Shark grip and the Fin Vario basket system. This one comes in Naturalcarbon/Regal Blue Light/White.
The shaft is PRC 850 carbon, where PRC stands for Performance Racing Carbon. It is light and stable and keeps the pole efficient at high tempo on the track. Nordic Trigger Shark is a grip and strap system that Leki developed for cross-country skiing. The Shark Loop lets you click in quickly, and the Quick Release button gets you out again just as fast. The Nordic system only releases with the button. Hand and pole are connected directly, so you guide the pole precisely and get good power transfer. All Shark straps and gloves work with the pole, but Leki's alpine Trigger system does not. The Speed Shape gives precise pole guidance during fast movements. The Fin Vario basket is very light and grips well on the track. You swap it without tools to suit the snow, and the system also takes a roller tip for summer training.
