LOOK Pivot 2.0 15 GW is a freestyle binding built around LOOK's classic turntable heel and a race-bred toe piece. This is the Alex Hall edition, a limited signature model. Alex Hall designed the graphic himself and went on to win two Crystal Globes with it.
The Pivot heel rotates directly under the tibia and offers 28 mm of elastic travel. It absorbs shocks well and holds you in reliably, which cuts down on unwanted pre-release. The all-metal RACE toe piece adds 45 mm of elastic travel and 180-degree multi-directional release. LOOK uses it across every discipline, from the Alpine World Cup to freestyle, freeride and moguls. The toe also has a true mechanical upward release that works independently of the heel. When the binding is pushed off centre, it re-centres quickly before it releases. The short mounting zone means less swing weight, better response and a deeper, rounder, more consistent ski flex. The components are designed for strong roll coupling between boot and binding, so the boot barely rolls before the binding engages and power goes straight to the ski. The DIN range runs from 6 to 15, and the binding works with both alpine and GripWalk soles.
