The Völkl Peregrine 72 is a carving ski for sporty skiers who want to work the piste all day. It moves easily between short and medium turns, from hard snow to mixed conditions. This version is green and comes with the Marker rMotion-T 12 binding on Völkl's R-Motion Toolless system.
3D Radius Sidecut gives the ski three radii. Long radii at the tip and tail handle big turns at speed, while a shorter radius in the center makes short turns easy to start. Tailored Carbon Tips keep the shovel light, so it reacts quickly and needs less effort. The core is Völkl's Multilayer Woodcore, with hardwood next to the sidewalls and lighter wood in the middle. The hardwood improves edge grip, and the lighter wood keeps the weight down. Combined with full ABS sidewalls, the core gives direct power transmission and stability. R-Motion Toolless was developed with Marker and is integrated into the ski. It adds edge grip, and the binding adjusts quickly without tools. At 168 cm the sidecut is 122-72-103 mm, with radii of 19.4 m at the front, 13.6 m in the center and 16.2 m at the rear. The ski weighs 3200 g with binding.
