Peregrine 72 Master WC-Plate + Comp 16 GW Master 26/27

The Völkl Peregrine 72 Master is an all-mountain ski that borrows its technology from Völkl's World Cup skis. It brings the precision of a race ski together with a wide range of turn shapes. It comes with the Marker Comp 16 GW Master binding on a 10 mm Marker World Cup plate.

This is the first time Völkl has used its 3D Radius Sidecut on a ski narrower than 80 mm underfoot. The ski has three radii. Long radii at the tip and tail handle big turns at speed, while a shorter radius in the center makes short turns easy to start. The core is a Tailored Torsion Woodcore in ash, the same wood Völkl uses in its World Cup skis. It combines stick wood and laminated wood. The tip and tail are torsionally stiff, so the ski enters the turn directly and stays calm at high speed. The softer center smooths the move from carving to drifting. As on the World Cup models, a World Cup base and phenol sidewalls add smoothness and precision. The plate has Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston. At 168 cm the sidecut is 122-72-103 mm, with radii of 19.4 m at the front, 13.6 m in the center and 16.2 m at the rear. The ski weighs 2270 g without binding.
