Optic 96 26/27

The Line Optic 96 is an all-mountain ski for the whole mountain, from groomers to freeride terrain. It has titanal from Line's Gas Pedal Metal Overdrive and an aspen veneer core. Line pitches it at intermediate to expert skiers.

Gas Pedal Metal is titanal laid across the width of the ski, and it reinforces the ski underfoot. That adds edge grip and torsional stability, while the ski stays lively in chop and mixed snow. Two separate titanal pieces in the tip and tail add extra power. Overdrive runs titanal lengthwise all the way into the tip and tail for more stability and precision. The sidecut is Line's 5CUT, which blends five radii so the ski can make many kinds of turns. Early Rise in the tip and tail gives more lift in deep snow and lets the ski get up on edge quickly on hardpack. The softer tip starts the turn easily, and the stiffer tail gives power and control at speed. At 177 cm the ski measures 129-96-119 mm, with a 16 m radius and a weight of 2115 g.
