Built for park laps and everyday riding, the Mthod Glow Shell Jacket is an uninsulated shell in Reflective Camo Mist. Oakley made it as a 2-layer construction with FNDry 10K waterproofing and 10K breathability.

The seams are fully taped, and that detail decides whether a shell holds out in wet snow or gives up by lunchtime. A Hydrofree DWR treatment keeps the face fabric from wetting out and gaining weight. The two-way VISLON AquaGuard zipper closes the front tight and opens from the bottom when you are sitting on a chairlift. The hood is a 3-layer build with a laminated brim and stows away when the weather clears, while the snow skirt detaches once spring arrives. Mesh underarm vents handle heat management during hard laps. Storage covers the practical side with an RFID pass pocket, a media pocket and internal mesh pockets. The baggy cut leaves space for a warm midlayer without pulling across the shoulders.

  • Uninsulated shell: you control warmth with layers
  • FNDry 10K waterproofing: protection from snow and sleet
  • Taped seams: sealed at every stitch line
  • VISLON AquaGuard zipper: two-way and weather resistant
  • 3-layer hood: stows away when not needed
  • Detachable snow skirt: follows the season
  • Mesh vents: fast cooling between park laps

This shell suits the snowboarder or skier who wears one jacket from first lap to the drive home and prefers to decide the insulation underneath.
