The Oakley MOD1 is a straightforward snow helmet in a youth fit, with BOA 360 and a removable wedge insert. This version comes in Cyan Blue Colorshift, which changes tone with the light and the angle, from cold blue towards violet.
MOD1 is drawn low and simple after classic skate helmets, and the youth version follows the same line. BOA 360 tightens the full circumference from a dial at the back, gloves on. The wedge insert is called the Wheelie Wedge. It stops the helmet from rocking backwards, which keeps the forehead covered and the transition to the goggles tight. The venting is fixed. Warm air escapes through the crown, and brim venting carries air on from the goggles so the lens does not fog. The liner and ear pads come out for machine washing and can be adapted to the weather. The goggle strap can run underneath the shell. The Fidlock buckle closes magnetically under the chin and works one-handed. The helmet is certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN 1077.
- BOA 360 adjusts with gloves on

- Fixed venting at crown and brim
- Removable, machine washable liner and ear pads

The MOD1 in youth fit is a simple helmet for young skiers and snowboarders, with quick adjustment and fixed venting.
