The Burton Melter Plus 2L Pants are uninsulated snow pants with a waterproof, breathable two-layer DRYRIDE fabric. They step up the weather protection from Burton's original Melter Pants. This version comes in Petrol Green.

The shell fabric is a polyester dobby. It is rated at 10,000 mm waterproofing and 5,000 g breathability, and it dries quickly. The seams are fully taped. Inside, Burton's Living Lining is mapped with embossed taffeta and small hole mesh. When you heat up, open the continuous vent along the inner thigh. It is mesh lined and uses a no-snag zipper. The zippered hand pockets are lined with microfleece, and the back pockets close with hook-and-loop. The cuffs are elasticized, and the fit is regular. The membrane and water repellent are made without intentionally added PFAS. On Burton's own scale, waterproofing sits in the middle, breathability a step lower and warmth at the bottom. Burton backs the pants with a lifetime warranty.
