Brown Tortoise suits the Oakley Line Miner L, and here the frame is matched with a Prizm Snow 24K lens. The cylindrical lens profile is drawn in close to the face and delivers one of the deepest downward sightlines you will get in a snow goggle.
Prizm Snow 24K sets a gold Iridium mirror over a red base tint, with light transmission at 12 percent. Oakley recommends it for sun and clouds, so it spans everything from cloudless high pressure to light cover. Prizm Snow optics raise contrast, making the change from hard pack to soft snow visible while there is still time to act. The material is injection-moulded Plutonite, blocking 100 percent of UVA, UVB and UVC plus harmful blue light to 400 nanometres. The dual lens is optically correct with an F3 anti-fog coating, and triple-layer foam with moisture-wicking polar fleece keeps your face dry through the day.
- Prizm Snow 24K: 12 percent light transmission for sun and clouds
- Gold Iridium: less glare, balanced light transmission
- Cylindrical lens: clear sightline down to your tips
- Plutonite: full UV protection to 400 nanometres
- F3 anti-fog: the dual lens stays clear
- Triple-layer foam with polar fleece: dry and sealed
- Low-profile frame: strong helmet compatibility
The wide L frame covers more of the face than the M model and seals well thanks to the flexible O Matter chassis. The tortoise finish adds character to a goggle otherwise built around one goal: showing you as much of the hill as possible.
