Black

The Nidecker Index is the flagship of Nidecker's snowboard boot line. It is a stiff all-mountain boot built around an asymmetrical upper that follows the shape of your foot and calf. This version comes in Black.

Two BOA dials each tighten their own zone of the boot. The side dial runs the Internal Heel Lock, an internal harness connected to the shell and tongue. It locks your foot in place from every angle, with minimal heel lift. The liner is Nidecker's Diamond liner, made from memory foam. It is heat moldable for a close, custom fit and gives a more consistent forward flex. At the back, the Exo Spine works as an external backstay that sends energy straight from heel to toe. The Transition Zone blends it smoothly into the outsole, so the boot will not hook on the binding's heelcup when you step in or out. It also protects the back of the boot from damage. The outsole is a Vibram Approach with ICE-TREK rubber, a compound developed for winter conditions. It bites into hard snow and ice when you scramble up a ridgeline or hike the pipe.
