Sweet Protection Grimnir 2Vi® Mips is a freeride helmet with a full pre-preg carbon fiber shell. Sweet Protection calls it the most advanced freeride helmet it has made. This version comes in Natural Carbon.
The carbon shell gives high strength and impact performance in a low volume profile. It has variable elasticity and is both more rigid and more elastic than before. The helmet weighs 630 g, 23 percent lighter than its predecessor. Inside is a complex geometry liner. Three densities are molded together into one structure shaped to the head. The 2-layer Mips system reduces the forces that can be transferred to the head in an impact. The ventilation is adjustable, and the 10 large polycarbonate vent ports are penetration proof. The Occigrip dial system adjusts on the fly, including height. Adapted Goggle Fit and the internal goggle garage with vents give the best fit with Sweet Protection goggles. The Fidlock buckle closes with one hand as magnets pull the parts into place.

Grimnir 2Vi Mips is certified to CE EN1077 class B and ASTM2040. It is built for all-mountain and freeride and is a strong carbon helmet with a low profile.
