Flow Scape L in Space Dust Abyss is the version of Oakley's flagship goggle fitted with a Prizm 24K Iridium lens. That is the darkest tint in the family, chosen for hard light.
Flow Scape sits at the top of Oakley's goggle range. A conical lens and an advanced frame design bring the lens closer to your face and open up the widest field of view Oakley has built. The anti fog treatment is laminated straight onto the outer lens instead of sitting as a separate layer, which cuts distortion and keeps the image clean through a long day. Switchlock swaps lenses using two mechanical locks in the outriggers. No magnets are used, so that space goes into more lens and more view, while the locks hold the lens put through a crash. Two lenses come in the box, so you can match the tint to the light. The Vision Rapt foam is moulded in three dimensions and spreads pressure without putting edges in your sightline. The frame is cast in bio resin and the strap is recycled polyester. Prizm 24K Iridium is the darkest of the range at 12 percent light transmission, built on a red base. The gold mirror is made for sun and clouds in hard alpine light, where open snow throws glare straight back at you. It is in its element high on the mountain, where snow and sky merge into one white sheet.
