Oakley Flight Deck Matte Black with Prizm Rose
Oakley Flight Deck is inspired by the hunter pilots' helmet visor. Flight Deck has a fantastic wide view. The frameless construction allows the lenses to go all the way to the edge. It provides a clean and minimalist goggle, where tunnel vision never becomes a problem.
Flight Deck's frame is made of O-matter, providing a flexible frame that distributes the pressure over the entire frame. Three layers of fleece provide a tight closure against the face and protect against wind and weather. The goggle strap is wide and with silicone pressure on the back, it ensures that the strap does not slide around.
PRIZM from Oakley has been 10 years in the making and the result is nothing short of outstanding. Previous Oakley lenses have dimmed light penetration, on all colour spectra. With Prizm, the colours blue and orange are turned up, compared to other colours in the colour spectrum. It provides a better contrast in the snow and a wider range of use for the lenses. All the Prizm lenses are built on the Prizm Rose lens, wherein some iridium coating is baked into the lens.
Details:
- O-Matter Frame
- 3 layer fleece
- F3 anti dew treatment
- Ideal for Medium and big faces
- OTG
More about Oakley Flight Deck
Oakley's lenses are made in an exclusive plastic carbonate called Plutonite, they ensure comfort, clear visibility, and protection from impact, and 100% UV protection.
An example of protection could be Outrunning off-piste, a thick branch hits the lens, or you tip over and hit the tip of the ski pole against the lens. In both cases, one's eyes will be protected. The Oakley lenses are made to withstand a 6mm steel ball, being shot at them at 160km/h.
All Oakley lenses are two-layer lenses that insulate and protect against the dew on the inside. On the inside, the lens is coated with Oakley F3, F3 removes the amount of dew that can come when going from one temperature to another.
HDO is one of Oakley's best lens technologies. HDO provides a sharper, more accurate and better representation of one's view. It is especially in one's outer field of view that HDO comes into its own. This is where many other lenses get distorted a bit. The increased sharpness minimizes fatigue around the eyes and makes you relax more
