The Salomon Extend 1 Pair Padded 165+ is a padded ski bag for flights and road trips. The sleeve takes one pair of skis, offers 51 litres of volume and weighs 870 grams.
Padding is the point of it. It sits as a buffer between your edges and the rough treatment of a baggage belt, so the bases arrive without fresh scratches. The fabric has a new, more durable coating that copes with being dragged across concrete and into cargo holds. Auto-adjusting straps cinch the skis in place inside the bag so they cannot work loose and knock against each other. A zipper that runs the whole way down makes packing quick and getting the gear out again just as quick on arrival. The body is 100 percent polyester and the lining is polyethylene. The bag should not be washed.
