The Salomon Equipe SL 12 is a slalom ski for skiers who count turns between gates. It comes with an I12 GW binding on the Race Plate P749, an 11 metre radius and a 68 mm waist.
Power Control System is the new element in the build. Cork inserts are fused into the titanium layer so the ski keeps its raw power while damping vibration when the surface turns icy. Beneath the metal sits a poplar woodcore with an ash insert, providing stability and lively rebound. Double Ti means titanal on both sides of the core for precision and bite. Full sandwich ABS sidewalls with a 7 mm profile ensure precise edge contact, and a 7 degree side edge angle lets you snap the ski onto edge quickly. The binding accepts both alpine soles and GripWalk.
