The Dakine Charger 2 emerges as a versatile and high-performance foil designed to meet the dynamic demands of modern wing foiling.
The Dakine Charger 2 returns with its fourth generation, offering exceptional versatility across a wide range of conditions. These foils excel in glide, early planing, and carving, making them ideal for various disciplines such as surfing, wing foiling, and wake foiling.
Key Features
930 Kit: A top-tier foil designed specifically for lighter riders weighing less than 70 kg, ideal for wing foiling. This foil excels in carving and pumping maneuvers, enhancing your ability to advance in surfing, wing foiling, or kite foiling. Included in the 930 Kit are a 180 rear wing and 346 hollow fuselage, ensuring optimal performance across various conditions.
1500 Kit: Perfect for riders seeking efficiency and accessibility, delivering extended gliding capabilities with impressive maneuverability and stability. It includes a 230 rear wing and 346 hollow fuselage, making it ideal for surfing in waves less than 1m and venturing into downwind conditions.
2100 Kit: Tailored for heavier riders (over 85 kg) or very light wind conditions, offering maximum lift in the range. Despite its size, the 2100 Kit remains maneuverable and stable, making it suitable for dock starts and beach starts. It includes a 285 rear wing and 346 hollow fuselage.
Construction
Crafted from pre-preg carbon, these foils are both lightweight and robust, enhancing load transmission and stiffness for precise control. The unique mast and fuselage connection allows compatibility with both aluminum and carbon masts, ensuring exceptional rigidity.
Performance Enhancements
Refined profiles and moderate aspect ratios across the Charger 2 range enhance agility and responsiveness, facilitating smooth wave connections. The innovative wingtip design reduces cavitation during turns, ensuring smooth re-entry without loss of performance.
Dimensions
The Charger 2 comes in three sizes: 930, 1500, and 2100, each with specific front wing, fuselage, rear wing, and mast dimensions tailored to optimize performance across different conditions.
Included in each kit:
Each kit includes padded EVA covers, Torx Tool T30/T40, and an SS316 screw set, ensuring comprehensive setup and maintenance convenience.
