The Oakley Channel Glow Shell Pant is an uninsulated two layer shell pant built for freestyle riding. In this Reflective Camo Av Green colourway it pairs FNDry 10K protection with a baggy cut that leaves room to move.
Oakley rates the fabric at 10,000 mm waterproofness and 10,000 g/m2/24h breathability. That covers standard winter days at the resort, and the breathability lets sweat vapour from a hard park session escape instead of building up inside. The pant is fully seam sealed, so water cannot work its way in through the stitching. A Hydrofree DWR finish on the face fabric stops the shell from absorbing water and gaining weight. The elasticated waistband uses a technical adjuster and belt loops, keeping the fit locked in through jumps and landings. Two zippered hand pockets hold keys and a lift pass. At the bottom, a drawcord pulls the leg in and snow gaiters with a metal hook lock around the boot so spindrift stays outside. The fabric is 100 percent polyamide at 120 g, which keeps the pant light and easy to move in. Oakley lists the fit as baggy and the activity as freestyle.
