Blade 26/27

The Line Blade is an all-mountain ski for carving groomers. It belongs to Line's Concepts series and has titanal from Gas Pedal Metal and a very tight sidecut. Line rates it for advanced and expert skiers.

Gas Pedal Metal is titanal laid across the width of the ski. It adds edge grip and torsional stability, while the ski still feels lively along its length. Two separate titanal pieces in the tip and tail add extra power. The sidecut is Line's 5CUT, which blends five radii so the ski can make many kinds of turns. The flex is directional. The softer tip starts the turn easily, and the stiffer tail gives power, stability and control at speed. Early Rise in the tip and tail moves the contact points toward the middle, so the ski gets up on edge quickly on hardpack. Vertical sidewalls drive power to the edges and add grip as the speed picks up. At 176 cm the radius is 13.5 m and the weight is 2050 g.

The Blade is at its best on groomed runs, when you want to roll the ski on edge and pull short, hard carves.
