The Fischer Twin Skin Speedmax 70 Medium is a light classic skin ski for advanced skiers. The set includes the ski and a Race Classic binding for the IFP plate. This is the Medium stiffness version, and the ski is black with yellow details.
On this ski, Twin Skin means two short, wide mohair strips. They give secure grip and glide well, even on ice. The core is AIR CORE Basalite Pro, a very light, torsion-free construction with highly stable sidewalls. Volcanic basalt fibres keep the weight down and the flex the same whatever the temperature. CFC (Computer Flex Control) minimises differences in residual tension and camber pressure. That gives a strong kick and good grip on the climbs. The grind is DTG World Cup Plus, a deeper, coarser structure for warm and moist conditions, made with natural diamond.
The Race Classic is a step-in binding for classic skiing. The redesigned Classic Flexor and a 50 degree Turn Lock make it easier to step in. With the Double Lock Slider, you quickly move the binding on the IFP plate to match your technique and the conditions. The chassis is weight-optimised.
