Designed by Carl Schaper as a performance longboard, the NSP Pro-9 is Bonga Perkins' preferred all-round board. For over 20 years, former two-time world champion Bonga has surfed small variations of this shape. The most significant improvement is in the Pro-9's noseriding.
The Pro-9 is a longboard with as much shortboard squeezed into it as possible. Carl Schaper will often point out the rear third of the board as it fits almost perfectly to his 6'2 steps up, with the same thickness, tail dimensions and rails. The bottom has a soft roller for V in the middle that runs into the V with a double concave in the tail.
Designed as a single fine or quad-fin setup, the Pro-9is a low-volume, extremely high-performance longboard that's capable of doing it all with plenty of manoeuvrability and solid noseriding!
Pro-9 comes in a 4+ 1 fine configuration, so you can be creative in your setup of a quad or thruster setup. NSP positioned the Surf 10 fine box a little further behind to make it available for a thruster setup.
