The Starboard Kode is a bump & jump windsurf board that combines true wave performance with freeride speed.
Kode delivers more wave riding and blasting than previous generations and is built for versatile conditions, from light winds to challenging shorebreak. The bottom has an efficient flat mid-rocker with a smooth curve under the standing area, a double concave in the nose for a planing boost and a vee concave in the middle that feeds a pronounced vee in the tail, while thin rails give bite without grab. The board has a Powerbox in the centre and Starbox side boxes for a thruster setup, Starbox is compatible with US-box fins, and both thruster and single-fin options are supplied. Comfort comes from Jim Drake footstraps in certified Yulex foam and thick footpads with a diamond grooving pattern, and a smart colour setup marks wave, freewave and freeride positions for the mast base and footstraps. This version is built in Carbon Sandwich, the brand's lightest construction, with T700 unidirectional carbon on the underside for optimised flex and 60% carbon in the deck for a precise, controlled and responsive ride.
