THE KODE IN DETAIL
The 2024 Kode features an efficient flat mid-rocker transitioning into a smooth curve under the standing area, acting like an accelerator pedal for effortless cruising. Thin rails provide excellent grip without grabbing. A double concave under the nose enhances planing and smooths the ride in aggressive conditions. The Vee concave mid-section feeding into a pronounced tail Vee offers wave board turning ability superior to crossover boards. This new Kode sensation combines more wave riding and blasting ability than any previous models.
Thruster and Single Fin Options: Thruster setup for reactive turns and wave action, single fin for early planing and fast freeride. All Carbon Sandwich Kodes come with both thruster and single fin sets, while Wood Sandwich Kode 95 & 105 come with thruster fins, and larger Kodes with single fin.
Versatility Built-In: 2024 Kodes feature Powerbox center and lightweight Starbox side thruster fin boxes (85 liters have a US box due to the slim tail). This ensures faster assembly, more accurate fin setup, and tuning. Starbox is compatible with US box fins.
Play Harder, For Longer: Premium Drake footstraps made from certified natural Yulex-foam provide a comfortable ride. Underfoot, 10mm thick footpads with a diamond grooving pattern ensure positive grip, maximizing comfort during extended sessions and offering excellent wear-and-tear resistance.

CARBON SANDWICH
Each Kode underside is laminated with full T700 unidirectional flat-woven carbon for optimized flex, while the deck features 60% carbon, alternating between unidirectional and bi-axial carbon. High-grade PVC foam in the composite sandwich layers enhances performance, strength, and durability. This construction results in the lightest, structurally strong board offering precise, controlled, and responsive rides.

Kode 85, 95, and 105 accelerate quicker with increased area behind the fin, balancing lift with more nose area for a smooth ride in choppy waters. Enhanced maneuverability comes from the added curve around the front footstraps, making bottom turns and jibes more engaging.
