The Aeroguide Skate 65 is Fischer's skating ski for newcomers to the technique, supplied as a set with the Control Skate Step-In IFP binding already fitted. It is built around an AIR CORE Basalite core and runs a World Cup Pro base.
The Basalite core combines air channels with basalt fibre. The result is a light ski that still carries the composure you need while your push off is a work in progress. Sidecut runs 45 mm at the shovel, 40 mm underfoot and 45 mm at the tail, a narrow and directionally stable shape that does not wander as weight transfers from one ski to the other. The IFP plate is integrated, so the binding clicks on without screws and can be shifted forward or back through the season as your technique changes. The base is finished with Speed Grinding 2.0, and the two skis in the set are matched using the Precision Pairing System so their camber behaves the same. The binding is a step-in design: step down and go. Fischer rates the ski from beginner through to advanced.
