The Cabrinha Fusion X-Series MKII is a foil front wing that delivers early lift together with a high top speed, developed with SINTEF and a Norwegian university using cavitation-tank simulation.
The front wing has a swept leading edge with a straight trailing edge, an ultra-lean efficient profile and a moderate anhedral angle, which together give a loose and agile feel. The design is tuned for three things: manoeuvrability, versatility and stability. A moderate aspect ratio gives early lift plus a stable, forgiving ride, while a refined tip shape gives freedom in the turns and counters cavitation, so you can break the tips free and still be ready to carve into the next turn. Construction is a PMI core with pre-preg carbon in layered sheets with an exclusive interweave design, a tapered fuselage-to-mast connection for rigidity and easy assembly, and a brass through-bolt for torsional stiffness at the wing/mast joint.
