The Leki Venom GS TR is a giant slalom race pole with a Trigger 3D ProG grip and Leki's Trigger System. This one comes in Bright Red/Violet/Neonyellow.
The shaft has two sections: a durable 16 mm HTS 6.5 aluminium upper and a lightweight 14 mm carbon lower. The Trigger 3D ProG is a low-profile grip with a slightly narrower cut and a soft rubber texture. It gives you a good hold, even when wet, and a direct connection between glove and pole. With the Trigger System, the strap or glove clicks straight into the grip. In a fall, the connection releases once enough force pulls in a certain direction. You can also click out with the button on the grip. All alpine Trigger straps and gloves work with the pole, but Leki's Nordic Trigger system does not. The Downhill basket has a tiny, aerodynamic footprint made for GS, super-G and downhill. The replaceable Flex Tip has a carbide spike for precise pole plants and good tip hold.
