The Curv GT 80 + RSW 11 PR

The Fischer The Curv GT 80 is the wide carver of the Curv range, made for advanced skiers who love to carve with solid edge grip. It comes packaged with the RSW 11 GW Powerrail binding and an 85 mm brake.

The sidecut is 128-80-111 mm with a 14 m radius, measured on Fischer's reference length. Fischer rates the turn radius as medium. The wide build works together with Shaped Ti 0.5, a 0.5 mm titanal inlay matched to the ski geometry for stability, grip and a smooth ride. E-Triple Radius is a sidecut with three radii, suited to both carved and drifted turns. Fischer says it gives dynamic handling and balanced performance at any speed and in all slope conditions. The core is beech and poplar, set in a sandwich construction with ABS sidewalls for balanced flex and rebound. Diagofiber is a diagonal fibreglass grid that adds torsional stiffness and keeps the ski stable in the turn. Twin Powerrail is a two part binding rail with less weight and better power transfer. On-Piste Rocker shortens the contact length, so turns are easier to start. The sintered base takes wax well and has a long service life. At that length each ski weighs 1950 g. The edge bevels are 87 and 1 degree.

The RSW 11 GW binding goes up to DIN 11 and fits both alpine soles to ISO 5355 and GripWalk soles to ISO 23223. The Full Diagonal Toe has a higher vertical than horizontal release force, so it holds up to strong backward lean.
