The Curv DTI arrives as a complete package with the RS 11 GW Powerrail binding and a 78 mm brake. It is a piste carver for the experienced skier who wants quick edge changes and a calm ride at speed.
The shape is a Radical Triple Radius that blends three radii into one ski, which is why the turn starts early without forcing the shovel. The mid radius is 14 m, and the sidecut measures 120 mm at the tip, 70 mm at the waist and 102 mm at the tail, a narrow waist that rolls the ski onto its edge quickly. The core is beech and poplar, and Shaped Ti 0.5/0.5 lays two contoured titanal sheets around it, so the ski holds a line on hard snow without going lifeless. A Sandwich Sidewall construction sends pressure straight down into the steel edge. Bevels are 87 degrees at the side and 1 degree at the base.
