The Völkl Racetiger GS is a GS ski for long, fast turns with plenty of pressure on the edge. The new generation adds a TFP Layer and a Tailored Torsion Woodcore. It comes with the Marker rMotion-T 12 binding on Völkl's R-Motion Toolless system.
The TFP Layer improves power transmission and edge hold along the full length of the ski. The core is a tuned mix of stick wood and laminated wood. The tip and tail are torsionally stiffer, which adds stability at high speed and a powerful release out of the turn. The softer center makes the move from carving to drifting smooth. Feel the Fibre makes the feedback from the ski clearer, so you can tap into its performance with less effort. A short, low tip rocker gives a direct turn entry, and the rest of the ski has camber. Two full layers of Titanal and 3D.Glass add grip, damping and stability. The glass above the sidewall supports the edge on icy slopes. At 178 cm the sidecut is 115-67-98 mm and the radius is 17.5 m. With binding, the ski weighs 3082 g.
