The Atomic I 12 GW is an on-piste binding with Full Flex technology and release values from 4 to 12. It belongs to Atomic's ICON binding family, which brings race technology to the piste. This version comes in Black/Red.
Full Flex is a free-gliding plate that is fixed only at the heel. That lets the ski bend beneath your boot, so you get edge grip along the full length of the ski through the turn. The toe adapts automatically to alpine normed boots. This keeps release values constant, even when the soles are worn. The binding also takes GripWalk soles. Toe and heel adjust without tools, and once the length is set correctly, forward pressure adjusts itself. An indicator shows you when it is OK. Elevated Brakes tuck in close to the heelpiece, so you can tip the ski to higher edge angles.
