The Oakley MOD BC is a lightweight helmet for backcountry touring and ski mountaineering, combining alpine and mountaineering certification in one low-profile design under 450 grams.
The MIPS Brain Protection System reduces rotational forces to the brain in angled impacts, and the helmet also features RECCO and Twiceme technology as standard. The shell is an in-mold polycarbonate construction, and a 360 Fit System with an adjustable dial gives a secure fit. Fixed front goggle vents optimise goggle performance and reduce fogging, while adjustable top ventilation manages airflow. A removable lightweight beanie, Ionic+ anti-microbial liner, Fidlock magnetic buckle and bungee straps for backpack carry make it ready for long days in the backcountry. Triple certified to EN 1077, ASTM F2040 and EN 12492.
