The K2 Mindbender 116C W is a women's powder ski with a 116 mm waist. No ski in the Mindbender collection is wider. It is made for long days in deep snow, and Freeskier Magazine gave it an Editors' Pick.
Powder Rocker has a higher rise over a long section in the tip and tail, so the ski gets maximum float when the snow is deep. Spectral Braid is K2's patented fiber reinforcement. The fiber angle changes along the ski, which lets K2 fine-tune torsion and flex. The result is a balance between a ski that turns easily and a ski that stays stable underfoot. Uni-Directional Flax adds a layer of light natural fibers running in one direction. They improve suspension and help the ski track through variable snow. The core is light, resilient aspen. The bio-resin keeps the flex consistent across a wide range of temperatures.
