The Head Kore 106 Ti is an expert freeride ski built for big mountains and powder. It has two layers of Titanal and a Karuba and beech wood core, which keep it stable in deep snow and durable in rough conditions. This version comes in Black/Green.
The construction is called Freeride Sandwich Cap. The Titanal layers add stiffness with good damping, so the ski stays calm on the snow. The mix of woods in the core keeps the weight down and damps well. A flax layer and graphene complete the layup. The tip and tail are rockered, with regular camber underfoot. That gives float and a surfy feel in powder, while the ski stays precise on hard snow and groomers. The topsheet is a hybrid. Its outer edge is coated flax that resists chipping, and a traditional topsheet inside the outline helps against scratches. The base is a durable UHM C base. At 184 cm, the sidecut is 135-106-127 mm and the radius is 18.5 m. At the same length, the ski weighs 2215 g without binding. The ski is ready for Head's Protector bindings.
