Welded Rail Technology
Each Starboard inflatable paddleboard has welded rails.
The Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of adhesive weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable paddle boards stronger and more durable.
Airline Technology
The free-floating aramid cable locks the board's shape when inflated.
The patented Airline Technology uses a pre-set free-floating cable that is attached to the nose, runs under the bottom, and ends at the fin box. The pre-set cable is slightly shorter than the board, so when the board is inflated, the cable is put under tension and stiffens the board significantly at the vertical joint. The measured bending is 1.8 cm less in tests.

Stiffer, lighter, and more responsive
The Fusion Woven dropstitch makes the Deluxe board extra strong and rigid.
The heat-welded rails create a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of adhesive weakening over time. This makes the board stronger and increases its durability.
