The K2 Mindbender 115 W LV is a women's freeride ski boot for skiers who need one boot for both the resort and the backcountry. It has a stiff 115 flex, tech fittings and a walk mode, and the last is 98 mm with low volume.
The Powerlite shell uses walls of varying thickness and four different types of TPU, which keeps it light and responsive. The walk mode offers a 50-degree range of motion, and the Friction Free Cuff Pivot keeps resistance to a minimum when you walk. Tech fittings in the toe and heel are integrated into the shell injection, so the boot works with both tech bindings and alpine DIN bindings. The liner is PowerFit Pro Tour. It is pre-moulded and lasted with heat-mouldable Ultralon foam, with stiffer foam and a stiff, asymmetric tongue for added power and energy transmission. It also has pre-moulded ankle pockets, a high-density power collar and a tour notch at the back of the ankle for more comfort and range of motion when hiking and skinning. The cuff and shell are joined by the rivet-free Energy Interlock for a smoother, progressive flex. Softer TPU over the instep makes the boot quick to get in and out of, and both shell and cuff can be heat-moulded.
