The Leki HRC max FRT is a carbon cross-country pole that Leki built for racing. It has Leki's Nordic FRT grip and a Nordic Fix Strap. This one comes in Bright Red/Violet/Neonyellow.
The FRT grip was developed specifically for cross-country skiing. It lets you adjust the strap to the millimetre, bringing your hand very close to the pole for good power transfer on the track. The double fixation keeps the strap in place during a race. An integrated correction zone improves propulsion and gives precise pole guidance. The grip is made of CorTec, which resists abrasion even when wet. The strap was developed for the FRT grip and has a broad contact surface. The carbon tube is 16.5 mm in diameter and weighs 55 g per metre, which keeps the pole light but stable. The Fin Vario basket is very light and grips well on the track. It swaps in seconds and without tools to match the snow, and the system lets you choose between two baskets and a roller ski tip. The Carbide Tip gives precise pole plants and good grip.
