The Leki HRC Junior TR is a carbon cross-country pole for teens. Leki built it for racing and roller skiing, and it has the Nordic Trigger Shark system. This one comes in Bright Red/Violet/Neonyellow.
With Trigger Shark, hand and pole are connected directly, so your power goes straight into the pole. The strap clicks into the grip and out again quickly. You release it with the button on the grip, as the Nordic system has no mechanical release. All Shark straps and gloves work with all Shark poles, but not with Leki's alpine Trigger poles. The Trigger Shark grip is a versatile multisport grip that is easy to handle. It is used for cross-country skiing and Nordic walking, as well as roller skiing and trail running. The shaft is a single piece of Carbon Composite, 16 mm in diameter. The Fin Vario basket is very light and grips well on the track. It swaps without tools, and the system lets you choose between two baskets and a roller ski tip.
