This goggle is developed after more than 40 years of innovation, it is created as an honour to the original test pilots at Oakley. The riders as two to the absolute heights, to the legendary riders who pushed the possibilities to new heights, and pushed Oakley's technologies the same way! A ski spectacle created by legends for legends!
Oakley has given the straps the original 'Factory Pilot' logo and designed new colours for this heritage collection of goggles.
The Oakley Flight Deck is designed to be inspired by the helmet visor that some helmets have. They are made to give a really good view. The goggles are born with Oakley's Ridgelock technology, which allows you to quickly and easily change the lenses. Flight Deck is naturally born with a PRIZM™ lens, so you have always assured the best picture of the encyclical in the snow. The lens is extremely protective of the dangerous UVA/UVB/UVC rays emitted by the sun. Oakleys lenses are made of an exclusive plastic carbonate called Plutonite, they ensure comfort, clear visibility and protection against impact, and 100% UV protection.
An example of protection, for example, could be: out running off-piste and a thick branch hitting the lens, or tipping over and hitting the tip of the ski pole against the lens. In both cases, one's eyes will be protected. The Oakley lenses are made to withstand a 6 mm steel ball that is shot at them at 160 km/h.
All Oakley lenses are two-layer lenses that insulate and protect against the dew on the inside. On the inside, the lens is coated with Oakley F3, F3 removes the amount of dew that can come when going from one temperature to another.
