Product Information
Slim and fast boat with great stability and volume. Despite its width of only 58 cm, essence 17 seems like an incredibly stable and safe kayak. The perfect choice for the slightly larger rower who wants speed and athletic sailing skills. The seat has an adjustable backrest and padded thigh hangers and provides super seating throughout the day. The kayak is fitted with two hatches as well as an extra daily behind the cockpit (separate room).
It is equipped with a rudder that can be used in high winds and waves. Use and fine-tune the TruTrak rudder with a wired system to lock the direction and maintain the position in wind, current and waves.
Details:
- Dimensions: 518 x 57 cm
- Weight: 28 kg
- Load capacity: 160 kg
Perception History
Perception radically changed kayaking back in the 90s, when they began producing kayaks made of plastic. This made the kayaks faster, better, lighter and not least cheaper. The kayaks became even more accessible to the population, and the sale of kayaks exploded. The kayaks are now produced in a myriad of variations, which makes it possible to find one that fits your needs exactly. The same applies to various spare parts that they produce for their kayaks.
